SAY IT WITH YOUR CHESS
A community fundraiser where a minimum of 8 Chess players sponsored by their organizations play for cash prizes that they commit to a deserving recipient person or group.
More than just a competition — it's a cultural movement, bringing together the city’s best restaurants, sharpest chess players, their organizations and most important, the loved ones they play for.

FAQ
Q- Can an org sponsor more than 1 player?
A- Yes. 1 org can have up to 3 players at an event
Q-Are games timed?
A- Yes. Players choose between one 30-min game or best of three 15-min games. Finals matches area always best of three.
Q- Are matchups made by ranking?
A- No. The top players from each org are matched up randomly at the event.
Q- What else happens at the events?
A- Other talents from the orgs are showcased as part of the celebration. Poets, singers rappers, comedians. etc.

A- Absolutely! Contact us today for guidelines.
Q- How else can I support?
A- Podcasters & influencers, partner with SIWYC, play online while audience donates to your cause of choice.

All participants receive Say It With Your Chess T-shirt and custom chess board.
Want a unique activity for your next team building experience? Provide your team a Lunch and Learn chess lesson. Learn the rules, strategy and the names of Black chess legends. Complete with boards, large diagram instructions and trivia with prizes.
